Progress...

This has been one eventful week for us!! Thursday night, we had our hospital orientation and tour. The hospital looks more like a hotel than hospital!! We were very impressed! The room has a mini fridge and remote control lights and blinds. The baby can stay with us 24/7 unless we send him to the nursery, and its all state of the art and the hospital is less than 2 years old! We're very happy with our hospital choice so far! And its only 5 minutes from the house!! Hopefully, I'll go into labor at home so it will be an ease to get me to Labor and Delivery!

I ended up talking to another mom-to-be in route to the bathroom before the tour started. We exchanged due dates and she is actually due 5 days later than me. She commented on how well I was moving around! She, on the other hand, was waddling and holding her belly as in pain and as if it was about to explode. Its amazing how every mom progresses at different speeds. I'm still feeling good....I'll have occasional tired spells and a few uncomfortable, sleepless nights but so far, things have been very smooth sailing for me. I'm worried that those miserable days are coming though! Keep your fingers crossed!!

I actually had two more baby showers this week. One given by my work and one by my alumni sorority chapter. Again, we were blessed with tons of great gifts for baby Joshua. My work was very generous and gave a group gift of the swing and highchair we registered for, in addition to individual gifts. We are very thankful for all the gifts. It has helped out tremendously!! There's so much to buy when preparing for a baby and to have family, friends and coworkers help is wonderful!

Here's a few new pictures from this week:
