I'm finally making time to update the blog. I realized I haven't posted in almost two months and I know I have some faithful readers out there wanting some updates!!
We had a great Easter! Joshua enjoyed hunting for eggs, church and opening his Easter surprises. We were lucky to have both sets of grandparents in town during the month of March.
Joshua is growing up! He's about 26 lbs now and wearing size 18 months clothes. He's learning more words....even words we prefer him not say, but then we crack up laughing when he does say them. He (well, we all) had the stomach flu last week and I guess since I applied Butt Paste (diaper rash cream) so often to him, Joshua picked up the word. He proudly went around saying 'Butt Paste' for a few days. I, of course, had to get it on video since it was so funny!
We've had our share of doctor visits these past few weeks. Joshua seems to have the never-ending ear infections. We're going to a Specialist next month so hopefully we can find a solution to the constant infections. We will keep everyone posted.
On to happier things, this week at school we were invited in to spend time with Joshua during the day. Jeff spent this morning decorating a T-shirt with Joshua. Nice break from work for him! Tomorrow, Joshua's class is having an afternoon ice cream party. It will be Joshua's first time eating ice cream!! Yummy!!
We're gearing up for summer also. We have plans to go to the zoo, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm, GA and hopefully a beach day to introduce Joshua to the ocean! Can't wait!
