My parents came down for the weekend. I could tell they were excited about the baby....especially since we've made so much progress with the nursery and you can actually tell I'm pregnant now. We celebrated by going to one of my favorite restaurants for dinner, Barbara Jean's, and just hanging out at the house. I'll post some pictures at the end of the blog.
We're finally ready to share our chosen name. Of course, we had some fun with it. We mailed my parents, Jeff's parents, our sisters and Jeff's grandmother an envelope filled with foam letters and instructions to unscramble. My sister figured it out in record time (under 5 mins), while some struggled (you know who you are!). Unfortunately, my parents envelope got returned for extra postage, while the others somehow made it, so we saved theirs until this weekend when they visited. Here are the results:
We are excited to finally have a name to call the little gummy bear:
JOSHUA TYLER.
And even more exciting news...I'll get to 'see' him sooner than expected! Jeff and the proud grandparents-to-be got me the best present for my birthday: a 3D/4D ultrasound!! I made the appointment for September 6 and I will be 29 weeks then so it will be perfect timing to see him in action. And we'll come home with a DVD and live shots to share. Here is a link to where we are going: www.sneakpeekstudios.com I am really excited, as this is something I really wanted to do!! I have had several friends get this done and the pictures are absolutely amazing!! I can't wait!!
This was definitely a fun weekend!!

Happy early Birthday!
Grant loves Cousin Joshua's new room and crib. He gave it the A-OK! :))
Happy Birthday!!!!!
Congrats on deciding on a name! Thanks for sharing! Inquiring minds have been wondering and guessing (I thought Benjamin lol) Sending the foam letters is such an adorable way to share the name!!! If I ever decide to share the name before he/she is born, I'm totally stealing that idea.
Happy Birthday in one hour and 4 minutes! :)
mmmmmmmmm Barbara Jeans. JEALOUS!
And, I already told you I love the name. I give it the stamp o' approval :)
Love the name!
Yay, more pictures! What a smart idea with those foam letters. Happy Birthday, too!
