Ridin' the Storm Out...

Today marks the third day that Jeff and I have been home 24/7 due to TS Fay. We have cabin fever!! We keep thinking that there should be something baby-related that we should be working on, but we can't think of anything. Everything involves stores and spending money or painting, which is impossible to do in 100% TS humidity. Instead, I have enjoyed taking naps, eating and letting Jeff kick my butt in Trivial Pursuit.

We did get a lot of wind and rain from the storm. Jeff figured that we got at least 15 inches of rain. He had to fight the wind and rain twice to let water out of the pool to keep it from overflowing. Today, we had two tornado warnings but luckily the tornadoes weren't near us. And luckily, we haven't lost power for more than 10 seconds! (knock on wood!!) Its been raining for the past three days!!! Tonight and tomorrow morning should be the last of the worst of it...then back to the normal afternoon FL thunderstorms for Saturday afternoon and so on. Unfortunately, there are three new tropical lows in the eastern Atlantic that we will have to keep a watch on. After this 'weak' tropical storm, I have realized that Jax is definitely not capable to withstanding a major hurricane.

Baby Joshua is enjoying the lazy days though. I'm sure the weather hasn't phased him any!! 13 weeks (or less) to go and he'll be here!!
