Today Joshua is 3 months old!! My little boy is growing up! The past week has been so eventful for him!! As you know, I went back to work on Monday and Joshua started daycare. So far, so good!! I really handled going back to work better than I expected I would. I did cry most of the Friday and Saturday before he started school....but by Monday, I only shed a few tears. I did, however, miss him terribly on day one...and still do while at work. Getting back into work mode was easy for me. I work with a lot of great moms who have helped me adjust back to the 'real' world. Joshua is loving daycare! I get daily 'Infant Grams' which tell us when Joshua napped, changed diapers, ate, played....as well as his temperament during the day. We've been told he's a happy baby and smiles a lot. When Jeff picks him up in the afternoon, he's all smiles to see him!!
Joshua is now on a nightly routine. Daycare wears him out and he's usually ready for bed by 8:30. He sleeps through the night most nights and occasionally wakes up for 4AM feedings. Around 6:30AM, I go wake him up and get him dressed for school....then it's breakfast time and off to school by 8:00. I think he's really enjoying school and I'm glad they're giving him the stimulation he needs!!! I do miss him during the day though!!
