Tonight I'm catching up on blogging so I wanted to be sure to blog about our first weekend away from Joshua. We survived!! And I didn't call home every hour....I only called every 3-4 hours! haha
Jeff and I went to the Ginn Reunion Resort in Orlando to celebrate an early anniversary weekend. The resort was phenomenal! It's about a 10 minute drive from Disney near Celebration. We enjoyed our cozy villa! It was a nice and relaxing weekend. We ventured to the pool and lazy river, played putt-putt (I lost so I had to cook breakfast the next morning!), went to Downtown Disney, CityWalk and had a romantic dinner at Emeril's. And I can't forget to mention my fave: our couple's massage! That was so nice and relaxing!
We missed Joshua so much. And constantly caught ourselves thinking of him, talking about him or looking for something to buy him. My mom and dad took great care of him. I'm sure he was extra spoiled that weekend. We don't plan on leaving him again anytime soon though!! We agreed to give ourselves one vacation a year, kid-free. Next time we go to Orlando....I'm planning to take him with us!! I can't wait for him to experience Disney!
