Changes in Latitude

I'm sure everyone is getting ready for the busy holiday weekend. I am! One of my best friends is coming this weekend for a visit and Jeff is heading to Tampa for a bachelor party. Yes, I've already teased him about leaving his pregnant wife at home to go frolic with the boys. haha I'm excited myself to have a Girl's Weekend! Granted, it probably won't be anywhere near the type of Girl's Weekends Stephanie and I have had in the past. I've warned her that I may not make it past 10PM without falling asleep! I plan to take a nap tomorrow afternoon before she gets here and maybe I can sneak one in on Saturday, maybe when we're at the beach or pool. Things are definitely changing. I am no longer worried about finding a cute outfit to wear out dancing but figuring out a time to sneak in a nap tops my priorities instead.

Putting on my normal swimsuit this weekend should be interesting. I hope it still fits. Today I wore a shirt to work that is my normal non-pregnant size. Its a shirt that I bought because it was cute but realized it was too big and maternity-like when I got it home. Now, its perfect and comfy. I even had compliments on how it was a cute maternity top. I finally got tired of explaining that its not a maternity top. Heck, people know...I might as well start dressing the role. I'm really worried that one day I am going to wake up and nothing is going to fit me.

Now is Open Enrollment for my health insurance at work. I think this is the first time in my life that I am excited to sign up for a High Deductible Health Plan with HSA. I'm 100% positive that my $1250 deductible will be met....in one push, I'll have it maxed out and everything will be paid 100% for me. Usually, HDHPs scare me because I hardly go to the Dr. and I know that I'd never meet the deductible and enjoy the benefits of the plan. This time around, I'm set! Yes, even employees of big Health Insurance companies have crappy health plans.

I hope everyone has a GREAT Memorial Day weekend!!

Jeffery & Christy,

I'm lovin' all the details; thanks for sharing. Watching the two of you prepare for "the newest little Worthington" makes my heart happy, and I'm honored to be called Grandma Chris.

Lots of Love Always.
