Wedding Weekend

This weekend we ventured down to Brooksville, FL (near Tampa) for a friend's wedding, which Jeff was also a Groomsman for. It was a lovely wedding and made me realize that we're all getting old. We were at a table with the other groomsmen, who both were married and had children...then with us, with one on the way. Needless to say, this was one wedding where we didn't close the bar and dance all night. Actually, we only danced the slow songs, with the one exception of the groomsmen chicken dance for Jeff. I even brought dressy flip flops to change into! I knew I couldn't wear heels all night. It was a beautiful wedding and it brought back memories of our own wedding for me.

Traveling by car is draining for the pregnant body. Our baby boy has learned tap dance on my bladder. (Jennifer...watch out...we may have a future dancer!) So, rest stops were my friend. Also, other not-so-fun pregnancy symptoms are starting to set in. I'm finally 'feeling' pregnant. I look it too!! Seriously, I think the baby bump popped up overnight one night. He has been very active lately, which I enjoy since its also a extra dose of reassurance for me. He is the size of a large banana now!! I love how the pregnancy websites compare baby growth to fruits and veggies!!

Back to work tomorrow for both of us....then, hopefully a weekend to catch up on things! We want to start the baby registries this weekend. I'm planning on registering at Target and Walmart....and maybe a few items at BabiesRUs. I was recommended the book 'Baby Bargains' by a friend/mom...so hopefully I can get ahold of that book this week and read up on some reviews. This friend also let me borrow her copy of 'Baby Laughs' by Jenny McCarthy. I didn't consider myself a Jenny fan until I read her book. It was quick, hilarious read about her first year of motherhood. I read the whole book on our drive back today! It was a great read about what to expect, with much needed humor added in!

I'm posting a few pictures of us from the weekend. Notice, I look pregnant.

cute! I remember with Colin all of a sudden one day I just popped. It was so weird.

Glad Baby W and mommy are feeling well. Is the name still sticking?
