Yay for Maternity Clothes!

I'm finally at the point where Maternity pants are needed. I have a few dress pants that have elastic in the waist that may work for a few more weeks. Yesterday, I went to Target and bought 3 pairs of pants. Black dressy, black cargo and jean capris....all with the fun tummy panel and all reasonably priced! Relief! After spending all day at work on Friday regretting my pants choice, then later unbuttoning them and hoping they didn't fall down, I decided it was time. I'm fine on shirts since the 'in' fashion right now does consist of babydoll, flowing shirts. Yay! I probably won't need to buy any bigger shirts until it gets closer to my due date. I'll invest in tents at that time.

I'll have Jeff take the 16 week photo of me Tuesday before our appointment, then I'll post the 8 week, 12 week and 16 week pictures of me. Honestly, I really don't look pregnant yet. I have a slight baby bump. From everything I'm reading, the baby will really start to pick up in size and weight these next few weeks. Actually doubling in its current size of 2.8 ounces!! That seems so small to me!!

I'm still feeling great! Still no morning sickness and I'm not as tired in the evenings anymore. Last night, I stayed up until 12:30 watching a movie with Jeff! Seriously, that's a record for me! I haven't done that since we got pregnant! Usually, I'm in bed by 10! I did, however, sleep until 11:00 this morning! Being pregnant really drains you! Its all worth it though!

I started working on a baby book Jeff bought me for Mother's Day today. It has a few pages I can fill in before the baby gets here. I'm also debating doing a scrapbook for the baby as well. I may go ahead and make all the pages and then fill in as I go. I'll wait until we find out the gender before I get too involved with that.

I'm sure I'll have a big update after Tuesday's Dr visit! 16 weeks down!
