Well, I haven't been blogging as much as I would have liked to....but honestly, not much is going on baby-wise. Just waiting! Waiting to start showing, waiting to go back to the Dr., waiting for the next ultrasound, waiting to feel the baby move.... A whole lot of waiting! I've been warned that once I do start showing and feeling uncomfortable, I'll wish I never took not showing for granted. I'm sure once we find out the sex, I'll have tons to write about. Now, we're waiting!
I have picked out bedding I like! Pink/Brown with pink lady bugs for a girl, Blue/Brown with turtles for a boy. Its in the JCPenney babies catalog. However, this is the first cute ensemble I've came across and fell in love with, as well as the first catalog I've flipped through, so my mind may change. My mind does change a lot these days.
Things I have noticed recently (in lovely list format):
- weird dreams (with people who I haven't seen in YEARS in them!!)
- urges to cry (reading an obit for my adolescent OBGYN and the Wildlife Federation commercial about Global Warming with the cute momma and baby polar bear)
- I have been turned off to Mexican food....finally!
- Allergies 24/7
- Sunburns in 20 mins or less
- Tight 'fat' clothes
Jeff says I find something new everyday, so maybe he should be the one writing the list! haha It is all definitely new....and exciting!
I am in countdown mode for our next appointment....Tuesday! I'm excited to hear the heartbeat again! Not so excited about the GD test and Triple Screen though. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good results across the board!
The 'Book' says I should be able to start feeling the baby anywhere from 16-20 weeks....differs for every woman. Two nights in a row, I've awoken to weird feelings in my lower abdomen about 3AM or so. I've heard that you usually start feeling the baby move when you are completely still in rest mode. There's a maybe....but it could have just been gas. I'll keep waiting. I'm not 100% convinced it was the baby yet. I think its still too soon.
I'll keep you posted!

I love the nursery ideas! They sound so cute. I can't wait to hear if it will be pink/brown or turtles!
