It's a BOY!!

This has definitely been one eventful week for us!!

It’s a BOY! (I’ll get to the full story in a bit!)

On Tuesday, we celebrated our 2 year anniversary!! It was nice thinking back on what we were doing two years ago. It was nice reminiscing about the wedding and our honeymoon in Jamaica. To celebrate, we spent last weekend just enjoying each other’s company and went to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants: Barbara Jean’s. If you have yet to experience Barbara Jean’s….I highly suggest making it to one of their restaurants. They have several on the east coast….SC, GA, FL. Its home-style southern cooking at its best. Our present to each other was a treadmill for the house. This way, Jeff can work out at home and not spend hours at the gym and I can take 20 min walks/strolls in the AC. Not to mention, once the baby is here I can get back into shape at home.

I also started feeling the baby move this week! It is a feeling words cannot describe!! I first felt him move when I went to lunch with some co-workers. We went to lunch a little later than usual, so I was starving when we sat down and immediately starting devouring the rolls in front of me. Then, I felt a small nudge in the lower middle. I secretly thought to myself ‘OMG, that’s the baby!!’ Then, after feeling that feeling a few hours later and off and on for days, I realized it definitely was! Now, all throughout the day, I can feel him moving and definitely at nighttime! It’s a safe, comforting feeling to finally feel him.

And of course, the much awaited news: It’s a BOY!! We went this morning for our ultrasound and he made us proud. The ultrasound was amazing! We have it on DVD so I’m sure that will be the feature presentation after dinner tonight! He looks to be right on track with no problems at all! I also got my results back on the Triple and Quad screen and all good results! We have one healthy baby headed our way! Of course, I’m attaching the most recent pictures of our SON. Now the fun shopping, planning and decorating can begin!!
The deciding factor:
Baby facing the camera holding up an arm:

Baby face down. Notice his spine! Wow! :

Enjoy the first pictures of our son!!
